The latest entry in Nobuo Uematsu's ouvre is the first RPG for Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker development house. The composer of the two-disc soundtrack for Blue Dragon, has said in a recent interview, "I have a feeling that, after a long time, I finally managed to write something really good again." Happily, the man speaks the truth. The main theme of Blue Dragon has since been featured in a live orchestral version at the Play! A Video Game Symphony concert series. The game is due out in North America in 2007.
